Our residential services cater to young people with learning disabilities ADHD and complex behavioural difficulties, our service is an Ofsted registered children’s home.
Senior Support Worker Requirements
Minimum 6 months experience working within Residential Children’s Homes
A full UK driving license?
Completed or working towards Level 3 or Level 4 NVQ in Residential Childcare
Experience of conducting reflective supervisions
IT literate and an effective communicator
Available to work a minimum of 37-40 hours per week.
Understanding of complex needs and Learning disabilities.
We are a home that provides support for young people who have experienced placement instability in their lives. We have proven success with our young people, who have exceeded all previous expectations, this is a testament to our ethos of ‘No child is unreachable’.
As we expand our services, we are looking for dedicated Senior Support Workers to join our team.
Senior Support Worker role and responsibilities
If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people and have the skills and experience needed to support them, we encourage you to apply. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting a young person towards independent living.
You will act as a ‘corporate parent’, providing them with the necessary guidance and support to develop good personal hygiene, establish positive routines, and cultivate their natural talents and abilities. You will also facilitate their educational and work-related endeavours by organizing and supporting their travel, while ensuring they have plenty of quality family time.
Additionally, you will observe and manage their behaviours and ensure that all Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) are adhered to.

Senior Support Worker Package
A starting salary of £11.90 per hour £30152 per year plus £65 sleeps
Shift pattern will be 2 on4 off.

Set rota 4 weeks in advance to give staff consistency.
