Salary: £50,000–£60,000 + Bonuses | 37.5 Hours per Week

Fieldview Care Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced manager to lead a 2-bed residential children’s home in Westcliff, supporting young people aged 8–18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

The Role of Registered Manager

You will:

• Lead, develop and motivate the staff team.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safety and safeguarding.
• Promote positive outcomes, personal development and well-being for young people.
• Ensure care plans, policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
• Work collaboratively with families, social workers and other professionals.
• Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements, childcare legislation and health and safety standards.

Essential Requirements of Registered Manager

• At least 2 years’ operational management experience in a residential care setting.
• Experience supporting children with learning disabilities and/or complex needs.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare) or equivalent.
• Relevant childcare or social care qualifications and management experience.
• Strong leadership, team development and communication skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, child protection legislation and Ofsted regulations.
• Knowledge of childcare standards, best practice, equality and diversity.
• Basic IT skills and willingness to undertake relevant training.
• Satisfactory DBS check.
