We are urgently recruiting Team Leaders for established residential children’s homes across the West Midlands & Buckinghamshire.
We’re looking for experienced Senior Support Workers and Team Leaders who are passionate about making a real difference to the lives of children and young people.
The role of Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you will:

Lead, motivate and support a team of Residential Support Workers
-
Promote excellent safeguarding and child-centred care
-
Support staff development, supervision and performance
-
Help manage challenging behaviour and complex needs
-
Ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed
-
Work closely with the Deputy and Registered Manager
-
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
Team Leader Requirements
✅ Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent
✅ Residential childcare experience
✅ Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
✅ SEMH/complex needs experience desirable
✅ Strong communication and leadership skills
✅ Emotional resilience and a professional approach
✅ Enhanced DBS
✅ Flexible to work shifts, weekends & sleep-ins
✅ Full UK driving licence desirable
✅ Residential childcare experience
✅ Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
