REGISTERED MANAGER – CHILDREN’S HOMES
West Midlands | Telford (TF2) • Wednesbury (WS10) • Sutton Coldfield (B75)

We are seeking experienced, inspirational Registered Managers to lead our 2–4 bed residential children’s homes supporting young people with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident manager who wants autonomy, support and the opportunity to develop and grow a service.
The Role of Registered Manager

Lead the home and ensure excellent standards of care

Manage, mentor and develop staff teams
-
Oversee recruitment, staffing and workforce planning
-
Manage admissions, referrals, care plans and risk assessments
-
Ensure Ofsted, safeguarding and regulatory compliance
-
Manage incidents, complaints and safeguarding matters
-
Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, Ofsted and professionals
-
Manage budgets, occupancy and service performance
-
Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people
Registered Manager Essential Requirements
-
Relevant Level 4+ qualification in childcare/social care (or recognised Social Work qualification)
-
Level 4+ Management/Leadership qualification – Level 5 preferred/required where applicable
-
Minimum 2 years’ residential childcare experience within the last 5 years
-
At least 1 year’s management/supervisory experience
-
Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs
-
Strong knowledge of residential childcare legislation, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
-
Enhanced DBS and full UK driving licence
